I served as a design lead on the Webby-award winning project to develop AI literacy. We developed a more nuanced understanding of AI among non-expert users. The site was shown in 22 global markets and translated into 18 languages.
AI @ Work was a report on the disconnect between the social and technological narratives of AI in the workplace. Commissioned by Future Says_ Foundation, we delivered a research report on the state of AI in the workplace outside of the technology industry.
Design, Interrupted was applied research through practice to evaluate how AI is changing inspiration in the design process. Staged over two summers, it began with an exhibit in London at Coal Drops Yard. The following summer I conducted workshops with designers in London and Berlin.
AI Yesterday is a digital zine and art collective focusing on Art that represents AI, up to and including yesterday.
I developed a digital strategy for the V&A to enable contemporary Middle Eastern Artists to produce on-site installations without making site visits, leading to more representation with the museum's contemporary art.
Based on an exploration into the taxonomy of tools and issues of usability surrounding current makeup, we created ModularMe, a system that embeds tools into the lids of the magnetic pods. It replaced the mascara wand with a simple embedded brush. In integrating tools into the makeup itself, we’ve also eliminated the need for a makeup bag.
I sit on the advisory board for Better Images of AI, an international social enterprise focused on improving visual representations of AI by curating, commissioning, and advocating for alternative images that better represent the current state of technology.
